Regional light rail stop
The mobility hub Alter Güterbahnhof will connect pedestrian, bicycle and rail traffic in the future. A new stop for the Neckar-Alb regional light rail system and a new north-south connection will be created below the tracks. At the same time, the interruption of car traffic on Hanna-Bernheim-Strasse will further reduce traffic. The start of construction work has been delayed until 2023. The reason for this is the consequences of the flood disaster in the Ahr Valley, which ties up capacities at Deutsche Bahn.
