Joint project boulder wall
We build a bouldering wall!
A joint project by the residents of Tübingen, the Büro für Raumsport Stuttgart and the university town of Tübingen.
Together we looked for ideas for the goods hall and the district square in the mobile living room. Requested particularly frequently: A possibility for climbing/bouldering. We now want to make this wish come true with an interactive concept. Together with the Stuttgart architect Aline Viola Otte from the Büro für Raumsport we will build our bouldering wall ourselves. An overhanging facility with different levels of difficulty is planned, which should be freely accessible to everyone free of charge. The module is built on an area of approx. 7x7 meters, the climbing area itself is 3 meters wide. Various routes can be called up via an app and their difficulty assessed.
After the successful implementation in Stuttgart and Kirchheim, only the third bouldering module is being built in Tübingen. The concept is funded by the federal government and has already received several awards.
